Instructional T-Ball
Join us for Instructional T-Ball! All 4-year-olds are invited to come learn basic t-ball skills and get prepared for future baseball and softball leagues. We focus on introducing beginner skills through fun and exciting drills to keep kids engaged and learning! Each child must have an adult with them on the field. Coaches needed! Come out, have fun, and build a love for the game!

Tackle Football
Gear up for Tackle Football! Games will be played on Saturdays starting in September. This program is a great opportunity for athletes to learn the fundamentals of tackle football, develop skills, and compete in a team-focused environment.

Junior Golf
Calling All Junior Golfers! Join Coach Julie Dawson for a fun and competitive summer of practice and tournament play. This is a great chance to build skills, gain experience, and enjoy the game of golf!

Flag Football
It’s time for Flag Football! Games will be played on Saturday mornings beginning September 19 and will run for 6 weeks. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn the game, build skills, and have fun in a team environment. Flags will be provided for each player. Volunteer coaches are needed!

YOUTH TRIPS
Activate KC
We’ll kick off the morning at Activate KC, where you’ll jump into a variety of interactive game rooms. From dodging lasers to solving fast-paced puzzles and testing your climbing skills, teamwork will be key as you earn points and level up. After all that activity, we’ll head to a nearby park to relax, enjoy some fresh air, and eat our sack lunches. On the way home, we’ll make a special stop for ice cream to celebrate a day of hard work and high scores!

What to Bring: Please bring a sack lunch and a drink for the picnic.
What to Wear: You must wear flat, closed-toe athletic shoes and comfortable clothing—
you’ll be moving a lot!
Spending Money: Bring cash or a card if you’d like to purchase ice cream on the way back.

Blast Off Bay
Get ready to make a splash at Blast Off Bay in Goddard! This indoor water park is packed with exciting slides, a lazy river, and splash zones perfect for all ages. Whether you’re racing down slides or relaxing in the water, it’s a great way to cool off and have fun with friends—no sunscreen required!
What to Bring: Please bring a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes.

What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to change in and out of.
Spending Money: Concession’s money is optional if you’d like to purchase snacks or drinks.

Exploration Place
Get ready for a day of discovery and high-energy fun in Wichita! We’re heading to Exploration Place, Kansas’ premier science center, for an unforgettable adventure that combines hands-on learning with exciting outdoor play. Highlights include Design Build Fly, where you’ll explore Wichita’s aviation history, and Where Kids Rule, a giant medieval castle packed with hidden passages and science challenges. We’ll take a break for a picnic lunch before heading outside to burn off energy at the brand-new Adventure Playscape. This 6-acre outdoor area features a giant climbable bison, a 100-foot treetop climber, and the Textron Aviation Flight Adventure rocket slide! On our drive back, we’ll make a quick stop for a refreshing ice cream treat to celebrate an awesome day.

What to Bring: Please bring a sack lunch and a drink for our picnic, along with money for a quick ice cream stop on the way home. Pack a change of clothes as well—the Water Play Cascades in the outdoor area are hard to resist!

Fun Fridays
Our first stop will be Sky Zone in Topeka, where you’ll enjoy an hour and a half of unlimited jump time. After we’ve bounced our energy out, we’ll head to Gage Park for a relaxing sack lunch picnic. Then we’ll return to Burlington to cool off and have some fun at the BRC Outdoor Pool. Parents must sign kids out with Katie at pickup from the pool. All participants must be picked up by 5:00 PM.
What to Bring: Please bring or wear Sky Zone socks if you have them. If not, they are required and can be purchased for $3. Bring a sack lunch for our picnic at Gage Park, as well as a swimsuit and towel for the outdoor pool. Concessions money for Sky Zone and/or the pool is optional.

Rainbow Slime Co. at Union Station
Get ready to get messy and creative at Rainbow Slime Co. at Union Station! Kids will mix, stretch, and customize their own colorful slime with fun textures, scents, and add-ins. It’s a hands-on experience full of creativity, sensory play, and fun they won’t want to miss! (Kids can make & take their own slime creation home with them for an additional $13—not required but is an option if you choose.)

Park, Pool & Chill
Make Tuesdays the highlight of your summer! Tuesdays this Summer is a full-day adventure for ages 8 and up, packed with outdoor fun, friends, and relaxation. Each week, we’ll kick things off with a trip to a local park or playground for fun and exploration, then head back to the Rec Center for lunch and free time. In the afternoon, we’ll cool off at the outdoor pool before winding down with a movie and snack back at the Rec Center. It’s the perfect mix of energy, creativity, and chill time—all in one awesome day!
Important: Participants must bring a sack lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen each day. Concessions money for the pool is optional—I am happy to help keep track of it if you send in a baggie/envelope with child’s name.

Future Ladycat Summer Kickoff Basketball Camp
Join BHS Ladycat Basketball Coach Erin McGown for a fun camp opportunity!
Each day will feature a different theme, exciting activities, and plenty of
basketball fun for everyone. Don’t miss out on a great week of learning,
competition, and team spirit!

Little Cats Summer Basketball Camp
Make sure to get your kiddos signed up for this awesome camp hosted by Burlington Wildcats Coach Logan and Burlington Ladycats Coach McGown! This camp will feature fundamental skill drills, fun competitions, and plenty more to help players grow their game. Each participant will receive a take-home handout filled with drills and skill work they can continue practicing on their own.
Registration fee includes a camp t-shirt!

Glow Show
Get ready to glow! Learn a fun, simple pom routine and show it off at the annual Glow Show during a BHS football game this October! This class focuses on learning a short dance routine, then performing it—making it a fun experience from start to finish. Your fee includes instruction plus all glow materials (poms, etc.) used during the performance. Performance date will be announced at a later time. Don’t miss your chance to dance in the dark and light up the field!
